BRUSH MULCHING
Forestry mulching grinds standing brush, saplings, and undergrowth into a mulch layer that stays on your ground. One machine, one pass — no burn piles, no dump trailers, no stumps left sticking up to catch a mower deck. The mulch holds soil through spring rain and breaks down into the topsoil over a season, so the ground comes back better than bare dirt would.
Fenceline clearing
An overgrown fenceline hides damage, and hidden damage is how livestock get out. We cut a clean working corridor along your property line so you can see every post, stretch new wire, or walk a survey without fighting through brush. Tell us the run length and where your corners sit and we'll clear the width you need — wide enough to get a truck and trailer down.
Invasive removal
Eastern red cedar, mesquite, greenbrier, poison ivy, and privet take a pasture a little at a time until there's nothing left to graze. Mulching cuts them at ground level and grinds the material where it stands, which avoids the seed spread that hand-cutting and burning often make worse. With cedar especially, clearing it early costs a fraction of clearing it once it's established.
Tree removal
The mulching head takes down trees up to about eight inches in diameter and processes them on the spot, trunk and canopy together. Nothing needs to be dropped, cut up, or hauled off ahead of time — we work straight through it in place. Anything bigger than that, we'll tell you at the estimate whether it's a mulcher job or one for a tree service.
Trail cutting
A cut trail turns land you look at into land you use. We cut riding trails for ATVs and side-by-sides, access lanes wide enough for a truck or trailer, and shooting lanes and food-plot edges on hunting property. Mulched trails drain and firm up faster than blade-cut ones, because the ground stays covered instead of being scraped down to bare dirt.

Common Questions
What is forestry mulching?
A single machine with a rotating drum of carbide teeth grinds standing vegetation into mulch on the spot. Brush, saplings, and small trees go in whole and come out as a layer of chip on the ground. It replaces cutting, piling, burning, and hauling with one pass.
How is it different from a dozer or grubbing?
A dozer pushes material into piles and takes the topsoil with it, which leaves you with a burn pile, ruts, and bare ground that erodes. Mulching cuts at ground level and leaves the root structure and soil intact, with the mulch acting as cover. It's slower per acre on heavy timber and much cleaner on brush.
Do you haul anything away?
No. Everything stays on your property as mulch. There's no dump fee, no trailer, and nothing for you to dispose of afterward.
How big a tree can you take down?
Up to about eight inches in diameter goes through the mulching head. Above that, we'll tell you at the estimate whether it's still a mulcher job or whether you're better off with a tree service first.
Will it tear up my ground?
Far less than a dozer or a skid loader with a bucket. The machine cuts rather than pushes, and the mulch layer it leaves behind spreads the weight. Wet ground is the exception — we'll reschedule rather than rut your pasture.
Do I need to be there while you work?
No. We'll walk the property with you at the estimate and mark what stays and what goes. After that you don't need to be on site.
Do you work outside Ellis County?
Regularly — Cedar Hill, Mansfield, and the southern edge of Dallas and Johnson counties. Further out, it depends on the size of the job. Call and ask.
